Children’s Mosaics Friday

In this class your child will explore mosaics! They will learn to safely cut the glass/tile, glue and grout their pieces. Great class for problem solving and fine motor coordination!
Beginners will start with a coaster, then be able to choose a project of their choice (picture frame, animal/geometric shapes, and more). They will be assisted to choose supplies for their projects from the wide variety of glass and tile in the studio.
Children are welcome come for one class to try mosaics (most but not all children finish cutting and gluing their project in the first session, if not they will be given supplies to finish at home). The glue needs 24 hours to dry so all children are given the choice to complete their piece with sand or take grout home to finish.
Please have your child wear closed toe shoes (no sandals).
Also, please note, my studio is on the second floor of a mill building with no elevator.
