Begin your journey with a private Zoom session with Michelle Sider to help you select your image and discuss your composition.

Then we will meet at Cheryl’s studio in Holliston, MA for three fun-filled days of mosaic making, and an optional yoga class, and wine tasting, depending upon interest.

During this workshop, Michelle will guide you through her distinctive technique of creating stunning landscape mosaics using both smalti, mixed media, and stained glass.  If you have materials at home that you would like to incorporate into your mosaic, feel free to bring them to the workshop.

Drawing upon over 40 years of experience teaching art, Michelle provides a memorable learning opportunity with plenty of in-depth tips and feedback in a creative and supportive environment.

We will begin with a PowerPoint presentation, detailed instructions, and a demonstration.  Reach the next level in your artwork as Michelle guides you through color and value choices, andamento, and more to add textural and design elements to your mosaic. Be prepared to come away with an exquisite 8”x 8” mosaic.

Workshops take a lot of work to prepare!!  Folks will be refunded full price minus $75 administrative fee if cancelling more than 30 days in advance.  Under 30 days, there is no refund.

Please note:
Cheryl’s studio is on the second floor and unfortunately there is no elevator.

It is a glass studio so please wear closed-toe shoes.
